Its a fun basic game, but it would be nice to have a pause button and the abilty turn the speed of the snake faster or slower.

I love the classic mode. It brings me back to the days of nokia snake. The extreme mode is a nice option to have as well.

Finally an easy to use snake game for the app store. I have it on my dock and open it up whenever I have time to kill.

Its awesome that i have different choices for the modes to play in.

Love the fluidity of the game.. Beats online snake games by far!!!

Love how light this app feels! Very simple elegant gameplay, no annoying frills. This app has an "Extreme version and a "Classic" version. Extreme has a few extras, but at no time felt like someone tried to take a bunch of ideas, throw them against the wall, and "see what stuck". Classic is exactly what it sounds like. Pure classic snake awesomeness (PLUS 8-BIT MUSIC!!! Reminiscent of my old pokemon days! So good!) At $0.99 this app is a definite winner. P.S Why are all the apps in the mac app store so freaking expensive!?

honestly the mac app store is pretty lame, but this is the ONLY game i would recommend buying!!!!

FINALLY! something I can afford! this is definitely not a rip off. this is way better than playing on facebook and the sounds effects and music really pull the game togehter. you cant go wrong with something like the classic snake game. keep it up!!

Almost too simple, but it works well for this classic game. Very fluid, and controls are extremely responsive. I wouldnt mind seeing a little more polish, like the white box at launch which turns into the game window, and the fact that the iSnake menu contains "Hide New Application" and "Quit New Applications". Barely uses any CPU, so cant complain about that. Worth the $.99 IMHO.

i cant stop playing it! its so much fun, but i simply wish it had a pause.. like press the spacebar and it would pause the game but no i tried searching and a pause does not exist. That is the only flaw, but otherwise it was the best 99 cents i paid.

this game is ok, but i just wish that classic and extreme were a little bit different. They are the exact same apart from the different colors. Also, i wish they would make a mode were u could play with your friends. like 2 snakes on one screen

iSnake is a very fun game. it includes two modes classic and extreme. In classic mode it is just like you played it on your old nokia phone. In extreme mode the snake goes faster and has a powerup that lets you do anything. The only reason I gave this four stars if it include a pause button in case I ever need to pause. If that gets added I will give it 5 stars!!

This is a really great game thats perfect for killing time/boredom. I would highly recomend this to anybody who wants a affordable and fun game!

Snake is definitally one of my favorite games of all time. Simple yet so addicting. I could play for hours. I was very eager to find a good snake game once the Mac App Store came out and this is it. It is very simple is exactly what a snake game should be. It has two verisons. The Classic game play and the extrmeme game play. It also says more game plays avaliable soon. Which is very exciting. I just wish there were more options as to what type of game play you wanted to do. (Speed, closed walls or not, etc..) Also I wish there was a way to PAUSE the game which is the only major flaw of this game. I like to play snake while doing otherthings on the internet. So having a PAUSE button would be ideal. But otherwise great game and definitally worth the .99 cents! Snake On!

I Love Everything About This Game Application Epsecially Where They Have Two Different Modes Classic Modes & Extreme Modes. And For The Price 0.99$ Is A Very Good Deal! Once You Play It You Cant Stop This App Game Is Truly One Of The Best Killing Time Game When You Are Bored Cant Wait For The Updates With More Modes!

Streamlined, minimalistic look. Fun bouncy music which is different for each of the 2 versions of the game. Music and sound fx can be on/off independently of each other. Simple concept well-executed. Runs in a fixed size window approximately 7" wide and 6" tall on my large display.

This game makes me miss my old cellphone. I would find myself with a few minutes to kill and crack open the snake game for the tenth time in the last hour. I found it a fun distraction then, but find it has lost a bit of its "gotta play one more time" feeling on its way to my mac screen.

Its worth it. At firat i was like 99cents for snake??? But then i looked at the snapshots it looked really good. then the graphics were amazing. GET IT
